ASKED QUESTIONS
Who Can
Attend the Anniversary Celebration?
The weekend
celebration is created for everyone’s enjoyment. Adults and children are
welcome to join us for the Friday and Saturday events. ALL attendees 17 and
under must be accompanied by a parent at all times. All participants must be
registered.
Where can I
stay?
The
Berkshires offers many different types of accommodations from bread and
breakfasts to full service resorts. We have secured
blocks of rooms at a number of hotels in
the Great Barrington area.
When should
I arrive?
The gates
will open for attendees at 5:00 pm. Our celebration begins on Friday evening
with alumni Kabbalat Shabbat Service at 6:30 pm. Saturday morning the
parking will
open at 8:00 am and services will begin at 9:45 am. Please plan ample time for
parking and registration.
How do I
register?
Register on-line here.
What will
the schedule be like?
Tentative schedule of events.
What does
the Registration fee cover?
Your fee
covers the cost of all activities including lunch and dinner on
Saturday. Because of the size of the event, the food for the weekend will be
provided by an outside caterer. Note: Dinner on Friday night and breakfast on
Saturday will NOT be served at camp. You are on your own and should eat before
you arrive.
Can I come
and go during the day
Yes,
shuttles to the off-site parking areas will run continuously during the event,
but all current campers must remain on camp during the entire event

I want to
see my fellow past campers, how do I know who will be attending?
The list of
attendees will be posted and continually updated as the anniversary weekend
approaches.
Will I be
able to tour the camp and see my old bunk?
We will be providing an opportunity for you to see
your old bunks throughout the day. There will be specific times during the
day that this will be allowed. We do request that all guests remain aware
that camp is in session, and campers will be living in bunk at that time.

1. Where
do I park?
At the Fairgrounds on Route 7 across from the Big Y.
2. How
do I get to camp?
Ride one of the shuttle buses that will be running between the Fairgrounds
and camp throughout the event.
3. Can’t
I just walk over to camp?
NO! Neither Route 7 nor Brookside Road have sidewalks or adequate

shuttle bus from the Fairgrounds.
4. Where
do I go when I get to camp?
The shuttle bus will drop you off at Registration in the Visitor’s Parking
Lot where you will check in and receive your name badge and other event
materials. From there, you’ll head directly into camp.
5. Can
I add someone to my registration when I arrive?
Absolutely. We’ll take the information and generate a name tag on the
spot. Of course, you’ll need to pay their registration fee at that time (cash,
checks and credit cards will all be accepted).
8. What
should I wear?
Dress for the weekend is
summer casual. If your plans include Friday night, we encourage to join in
Eisner’s tradition of wearing white.
11.
What about food?
We’ll be providing lunch and dinner on Saturday, as well as an oneg Shabbat
on Friday evening. Please make sure you’ve eaten dinner on Friday and breakfast
on Saturday BEFORE you arrive at camp. Sorry, because of the large number of
people attending, no picnicking on camp will be allowed.
12.
We consider our
pet a member of our family—can I bring my dog (or cat, hamster, ferret, etc.)
with me?
No. Pets are not allowed on camp. For other specific guidelines regarding
your participation, please read the
