Crane Lake Continues to Grow!!!!

Last summer, Crane Lake broke ground on what would become the newest addition to the Crane Lake Camp facility.  We are pleased to announce that the Klau Creative Arts Center and Messinger Beit Am is nearing completion and will be open for this upcoming summer.

The ground floor consists of an Arts and Crafts facility more than double the size of the previous one along with separate storage and kiln/firing rooms. A new Staff Lounge and Canteen along with 2 additional storage rooms and two bathroom facilities, make up the remainder of the main floor.  The second floor, with access from the back side of the building, also has two bathrooms along with 2 offices and a huge recreational space to be used for everything from all camp services, limud, evening programs and rainy day activities.  It is environmentally controlled and will help keep the campers and staff cool on those hot summer days.

We are very excited about this new facility and know you will be as well when you come to visit camp this summer on Alumni Day (August 4th).  If you would like to make a donation to any of the programs housed in this new facility, please contact Corey Cutler our Director of Development at ccutler@urj.org.

Below you can see the latest pictures of the building.
