Dear Crane Lake Alumni,

On behalf of the alumni committee, we are excited to officially invite you to attend ALUMNI DAY to be held on Saturday August 8, 2009.  The gates of camp are open and we are looking forward to welcoming you to visit for the day.  As camp will be in full swing, we ask that you read the following information to make sure it is a fun and enjoyable day for all.  We have invited all Crane Lake Camp Alumni to join us this summer and the schedule for the day is as follows:

                9:00AM:         Check in starts. Please park on our lower lake field.  Please enter through the               service entrance just West of the main camp entrance.  Camp staff will be available to help direct you.

            9:45AM:          The Camp has Saturday morning services, everyone is welcome to attend.  If you                                                do not plan on attending services, please do not arrive until after 10:30AM.

11:00AM:        Meet at the flagpole for greetings from Herb May, Site Director and Tours of Camp

12:30PM:         Cookout BBQ lunch with the camp on the Front Lawn

1:30PM:           Alumni Softball and Basketball Games. There will also be some activities available for your kids. 

3:00PM:           The Pool will be open for Alumni to Swim

5:00PM            Hugs and farewell. 

*** The Alumni Day officially ends at 5PM, but I am sure many of you will be staying in the area for all or part of the weekend.  The Town of West Stockbridge will be holding its Annual Zucchini Festival that weekend as well so we suggest booking accommodations as soon as possible. Please find a link to a list of local accommodations located on the left for your convenience.  Feel free to make additional gathering plans with other Alumni. 

As mentioned, it is important to remember that camp is in session and the safety of our campers and staff is paramount. Please adhere to the following rules:

·        No alcohol or illegal drugs may be on Camp property. If you must smoke, it is only allowed in designated areas

·        Please do not enter any of the bunks or camp areas unless escorted by a camp employee

·        Swimming in the pool is OK, but the lake is not available for non-camp personnel

·        Please do not offer or give any food to campers, some may have allergies and they are not allowed food in the bunks.

·        You must be 21 years old or accompanied by an adult over 21 for the duration of your visit to camp.

Because of the current economy, we are charging $5.00 per person to help offset the cost of the event. Kids under 7 are free.  If you are planning to join us for the day, please click on the link below and fill out the form below and send it to: (Make Checks payable to URJ Crane Lake Camp)
